Telecommuting will bring in major effects on the world. Work and family life would also be affected and there would arise a question of individual freedom, responsibility and time management. The work place will be altered as the offices would become smaller as most of the employees would start working from their home areas. There would be demand for high bandwidth connections to link the office and home and even between different homes of other employees.
